As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you. Your personalized program will radically improve your health and happiness. Together, we will explore concerns specific to you and your body and discover the tools you need for a lifetime of balance.
Meet My Heart Rate CoachES
I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with minors in History and Exercise and Health Science from Alma College. I also have a Masters of Arts in Humanities from Central Michigan University. I have been a USAT Certified Level I coach for 10 years, and I have actively coached for that period. I have lived and coached in nearly every region of the United States from the far west and White Salmon, WA and Palm Springs, CA to the high mountains of Vail, CO where I coached Nordic skiing and strength and conditioning for high school athletes. I have also lived in Michigan where I coached high school cross country for three years, put on a triathlon camps and conducted open water swim clinics.
In March 2012 I completed my second degree in the field, a Masters in Human Movement from A.T. Still University. My undergraduate degree is a BS in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation with a major in Health Fitness and a minor in Science from Central Michigan University. I have been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for over 10 years and recently completed the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certification exam. My coaching philosophy is based on an evidence-based training approach as well as intense personal experience.
